Parish was trying to get in a snidey dig because Leeds had better offers on the table for McCormack. What Parish said was only a half truth , the wages bill could be level with Leeds but based on what they were forking out last season and not their current expenditure in pursuit of automatic promotion or a play off spot (Leeds 10 in , 4 out).
