Apparently Nookie is the official mascot of the Holmesdale "Fanatics". He , like them, has been boycotting Palace matches.
Nookie has not visited Selhurst since 1994 when he was a cub - the last time Palace won silverware.
Speaking from his retirement villa in Malaga he recently commented "It's not the same back there now - it's full of muggy little ****s - I remember the glory days when we won the Zenith Data Systems Cup and we used to run out to Whigfield's 'Saturday Night' - bloody fantastic it was "
