PA & Music Volume

Hi Insider,

I am aware of a few threads on here commenting on the pre-match music, for our part our family are generally in favour of the current mix of so called stirring music and popular footage shown on the screen.

We do just have a couple of points.

Sitting in the East Stand, it seems that at recent games the volume has been turned down. Against Doncaster, when for mine the music was at its loudest, the atmosphere was excellent. With a quieter volume the atmosphere is a little more muted in comparision.

Could the volume be increased to Doncaster levels to stir things up a bit more?

It is great to see legends being interviewed at HT, but not for the first time the sound clarity for the guests (this week Wardy) was atrocious. It was like a flash back to Withdean. In the end we gave up trying to make out what was being said which was sad.

Could the technology being used for this part of the HT experience be improved somehow?

Thank you for your time.

It is something we are looking at and we have to respect the neighbours in terms of noise. The other difficult thing is that sound levels differ depending on how full the stands are. So you can only really test properly on a match day.
