Sky Bet have released some specials ahead of Michael Owen's proposed move to Manchester United. They go 5/6 he makes under 20.5 league appearances for the Red Devils next season and also go 5/6 he scores more than 7.5 league goals, and the same price he doesn't. They also go 5/2 he'll score against Liverpool in the Premier League and 40/1 he'll finish as the League's top scorer.


Not sure about all these halves, 7.5 goals - its either a goal or not??

Still 40 - 1 to be Premiership top scorer, thats gotta be worth a tenner if he does sign for Man U

It's so there are only 2 outcomes. If they priced it up at 7, it would mean there are 3 outcomes (Scores more than 7, Scores less than 7, Scores exactly 7). 7.5 means there are only 2 outcomes (Scores more or less) and means they can go 5/6 the pair.

Personally i think 5/6 he gets more than 7.5 should be a steal. He got 8 league goals in a shit newcastle team whilst spending half the year injured.

does it not occur to you that if he passes a medical at Man U, he is not particularly unfit and stands a good chance of putting in 20-30 games? like he did last season.
