Barnes has made many contributions but Bridcutt's vision is fantastic, watch him for about 5 minutes and you'll see what im talking about. He's always in the right place at the right time.

Painter is the most underrated, he just gets on with his job tidily and efficiently.

Painter is not the most underrated IMHO because most people realise how well he has played - but he has warranted more attention than he has been given perhaps.

Barnes is probably the most underrated.

Agree with the others, Painter has been the constant while the others have missed games for various reasons.

Ankergren definately. On here, quite a lot of people slag him off, but his distribution is great and he likes to draw the man in to give us extra space in the middle of the park

Brezovan for me. Unfortunate to have picked up the injury and in my opinion always performed fairly outstanding when he got his chance. He's definetly better at saving pens and dealing with catches than Ankergren.

Surely just the fact he's winning this poll proves Painter ISN'T underrated?

Think everyone knows how good he is, but because he goes about his job and does it in such a comfortable unspectacular way it doesn't get a lot of mentions.

Most underrated as in doesn't get the press / accolades / praise worthy of his contribution to the side and our performances but is, in a way, taken for granted as his contribution goes virtually unnoticed and he doesn't stand out (like LuaLua would for instance) or because he doesn't make mistakes but just gets on and does his job extremely well.

birdcutt for me il be honest when we signed him i was baffled but as one poster on here says if he had been here for start of the season would of been my player of seson so far the kid is class had got a great futrur very level headed too as well i here hope is with us for years to come
