OT - Sharon tells Jews to leave France

The Israeli PM (and resident war criminal) Ariel Sharon has told French Jews they should leave France immediately. He is quoted in today's Guardian as saying:
...move to Israel, as early as possible. I say that to Jews all around the world, but there (France) I think it's a must and they have to move immediately

Leaders of Jewish groups in France are responded negitively to Sharon's comments suggesting he would have "done better...to have kept quiet

Just interested to see other people's views on this. IMO it supports the view that Zionism can be the best friend anti-semites can have and that Sharon's comments are an attack on the rights and security of France's Jewish citizens.
