O/T The Last Samurai

Just got back from seeing it. Predictable plot etc, yet suprisngly enjoyable. Superb (and relevent) battle scenes, a slight examination of culture and only a minor bit of Hollywood at the end. Heck of a lot better than I expected.

Anyone else share (or want to pour scorn) on my view?

If you haven't seen it, make the effort.

Saw this the other week - I thought it was very enjoyable, and pretty fair, although very cheesy in places. I guess Hollywood can't do anything else!
