O/T Heathrow hotels

I need a hotel at Heathrow for an overnight between flights and again to get over jet lag coming back from the US before flying on.

Any suggestions?

Preferably somewhere quiet with good shuttle bus links.

Anyone stayed at the Holiday Inn by the M4 junction?

We stayed in the Harmondsworth Hall Hotel, in West Drayton, about 8 minutes from Heathrow.

Really nice, friendly hotel with courtyard and garden, and very quiet. Couple of pubs 2 minutes walk away which do food.

About 70 quid for a double en suite room

Definitely recommended - I hate the corporate all-seem-the-same-and-could-be-anywhere hotel chains.

This one is full of Olde Worlde charm and character.

Oh, and it'll be gone soon - West Drayton is going to be bulldozed for the 5th runway.
