O/T : Computer help please

[Chapper's Own Goal]

When trying to open a new window via a link for example, North Stand Chat - Powered by vBulletin I simply get a 'blocked' message as the cursor hovers over the link address or a window comes up saying ' locate link browser' and the list of files on my desktop etc comes up .. I have tried to work it out but to no avail. Im sure it cant be too difficult but im a complete laptop 'donut' so any help would be gratefully appreciated. Cheers

Try holding down CTRL + ALT, and then click the link.
Your browsers blocking it.
