In the mid 1970s David Bowie started writing his songs using a cut and paste method shown to him by Andy Warhol and others.
Basically he either wrote down thoughts or saved sentences from magazines that he liked, then cut them up and stuck them down in a sort of random poetic order to make the lyric for a song ... quite a bit of Young Americans and Diamond Dogs were written this way.
So our task for today is this:
Grab the first publication to hand: newspaper, book, magazine, cerial packet, company memo, albion programme or whatever .... then choose just ONE line of text from it and post it here.
No comments, just the text .... we can write our own chart topping song!!!!!
