Its quite easy ask NTL

If you mean Not for Profit (IE its not run for profit rather than an organisation thet simply does not make a profit if thats the intention. Then......

What kind of org do you want?

There is the unincorporated unregistered organisation
There is the unincorporated registered charity
There is the incorporated not for profit company
There is the incorportated not for profit company registered as a charity
There is the social enterprise company.

All of which are nont for profit orgs.

The easiest is the first one just start it no regulations and no come backs.
If however this not for profit receives more than £1000 in any financial year in donations then it needs to be registered as a charity. lots of rules and regs you have to follow or risk prsion.

It just has to be a registered non profit organisation. Won't be making much in the way of money, so the charity thing won't be needed.

If its not getting in £1000 a year it does not need to be registered and the only places they can be registered is either the Charity Commission or companies house (secton 27 company is I think the not for profit clause).

But if its that small why bother set it up with a charity constitution (available free from the CC website) and away you go.
