How it can have been missed given all the coverage this year in the news etc. is beyond me. I think it's been publicised more this year than I ever remember before. Mind you, if you asked me a month ago when it was, I would not have known.

Guiness Day? Oh yes, everybody claims to be Irish then. My family is entirely from Ireland but I consider myself English as this is where I was born and have only lived in Belfast for a very short time and I would never celebrate Paddys day. I may as well celebrate Rhammadan for all the relevance it bears to me.

from somwere Australlia day was created this year brilliant! what a complete f***ing joke!

The only way people will remember would be to give them the day off! they should move it into the summer and im sure alot more effort would be made ( i realise it cant be moved but still) another summer bank Hol would be great.
