I can understand the secret on the decision. What I cant understand is why the state secret on when it will be known

my guess (for what it's worth) is that Prescott probably didn't envisage spending a week firstly getting in a row about school reforms, and then getting into an even bigger one over the smoking ban.

I suspect there's a whole bunch of things he should have done re the Falmer decision by now, which have had to be postponed. At least we have a final deadline day.

My contact in the local media tells me that the Club will hold a press conference on the day of the announcement.

As of 5.20 pm today, he didn't know whether this will be tomorrow or on Monday.
