How many points will you be happy with, and how many do you realistically expect us to take?

I think the best we can hope for is 5 points (I really can't see us winning two) but I'm expecting 3 or 4 points (win at Walsall, maybe a draw with Donny).

I would be OVER THE MOON with 9 points! :lolol:

I would also be OVER THE MOON with 7 points.

I think it is more likely however to be 3 or 4 points.

Near Dorchester, Dorset
Carlisle - score draw - one point
Walsall - away win, strong performance - three points
DONNY - dropped point at home - one point

5 from 9 keeps us there or there abouts.

I'd be satisfied with 4.

However, being INSANELY OPTOMISTIC, I predict SIX;

Carlisle 2-0 Albion
Walsall 0- 1 Albion
Albion 2 - 1 Doncaster

I think we will get 5 points, optimistic for draws at Carlisle and Walsall then victory over Donny.

Happy with 5 and any more a bonus but if we take less than 5 we are not play off material

Nonsense. Clearly.

So if we do average (DDD or WDL) against two automatic promotion chasing teams, and one fellow play off team when 2 of the 3 matches are AWAY, that means we're NOT play off material? ???

The games are undoubtedly tough, and WDL would be a decent sequence of results earlier in the season. Now, though, we need to average 2 points a game, and can only afford to lose another 3 times, so 3 points isn't really much good from 3 games. I still think we're going to have to put 4 or 5 wins in a row together too.

I agree.

WDL is not much use when playing catch up.

Its annoying but if Brighton had put one of the chances away against Orient 4 points would have been OK, as would have been 1 point out side the play offs with 2 games in hand on 6th and 1 on 5th.

Sadly this is not the case so really need to beat Walsall next Tuesday and pick up some more points against the other 2.

Would be happy with 5 but expect us to get 4. That said if want to keep up the presure on the teams above us then we need to be aiming for 6.

Would be over the moon with 5 points.

Realistically I think we will probably get 2.

Tough games, lets be realistic here, 4 points will keep us in the mix anything else would be fabulous.
