I think when fit he is bound to be injured again.

Last summer he went to USA training camp to learn how to kick the ball American Football style. Those that pay attention will have noticed a different style kick that was good at that start of the season but alas not for long.

I think it was some form of a vein problem, hopefully, now resolved.

That's why he had the surgery to solve the problem once and for all.

He is fit and now in full training. He's just warming up slowly as you would after any surgery and regaining full fitness.

I reckon he'll be better than ever this season.

does anyone else think we need a new ferret for this type of thing?
Ferret always used to bring us decent gossip and rumours from the training ground. Now all he gives us is useless crap we already know and betting tips.

I'll have a go.

There's going to be a big announcement later today which will explain at least one of the squad choices last night

No sorry mate, you sound just like the Ferret. This tells us nothing!:lolol:

Flahavan apparently couldn't make it. That would be useful in a league situation 'Sorry Steve Can't make it, mates wedding I can make Rushden away midweek though'

Maybe he felt he couldn't make it in time and he didn't want to have to speed along, considering that's how his bother departed this world!

Why couldn't he make the second half? There looks to be something in this.???
