Wasn't Giles Barnes "the next big thing" last time Derby County were in the Prem? They then went on to have an awful season, but he was injured for most of it so nobody blamed him iirc.

Chelsea tv commentator stated during game that Calderon was our #1 left back last season and set to be same this season. Were they deliberately trying to annoy bridge? Calderon has to be the best deputy right back in this division and Bruno the best by a mile!!

It was all Giles. Saw it on SportingLife and Yahoo Eurosport. Eurosport have changed it now I think though.

I thought Calde really came good the last few games of the season.
He was our for a while, had an opp and was a little delicate when he returned. It was obvious he wasn't ready to turn on that knee as he key people or side of him.
But once he tried it again, he was back and scored some corkers too.
While Bruno is mustard, Calde's gravy too, i want him and Bruno on. Bridge can wait his turn ;-)
Maybe Painter will step up to and find his form again?
