I think it's a great shame that the old round badge was dispensed with for being associated with Archer and his cronies. It had been around for all the glory years of the early 80's and not just the gory years of the mid 90's.

I'd still go for the crest though

I used to favour the round badge but have grown to know and love the 'new' sstyle crest... I even bought one of the fridge magnets !

I don't mind the seagull for a year or two, but I wouldn't like it to stay there forever.

I actually like the Centenary crest. However, the club must move on and if they choose the Seagull then after a while we will all grow to love it. A bit like an earlier post. I liked the Round badge but gradualy over time I have liked the crests they have produced and begun to forget about the older crests. That poor Dolphin was only on the shirt for a few years Now nobody remembers him
