Is Dean Saunders in 1988?

(I don't actually know when he played for us, or even if the number 10 is our player!)

That is a great picture, infact, I have changed my background for the first time in the 6 months I have had this computer to it :)

The players names... haven't a clue (wasn't even born for any of them)

I remember the snowy one well and the players are John napier (no 5) and Allan Gilliver.

It's against torquay and finished 2-2. A 15,000 crowd was expected but British rail put up signs saying the match was off so the crowd was only 5,000.

Pretty good game, considering the conditions. I remember getting the football bus home and stopped to meet my sis from where she was working in Carden Ave but the buses could no longer get up the hill so we had to walk over to Coldean.

In the 1970 pic, with Albion in white, i think it's Ernie Machin. Note also the origional North Stand roof.

In the first one, Dean Saunders is on the floor in the background. I'd guess the other player is someone like Steve Jacobs.

The 1988 one, well I thought Wendy used to wear 4, so I didn't think it was him. At a guess I'd say Gary Rowell or even Richard Tiltman.

The 88 one, I was thinking it's Steve Penney.

Wendy DID wear the 10 shirt for most of 87/88, so it depends on whether it was pre or post summer 88

1970 the player under the P looks like John Templeman.

The No 10 is Dean Wilkins I think.

The 5 is John Napier and the player with him is Allan Gulliver
