Knocking back the Vodka/Red Bulls as if they were going out of fashion... :drink:

Everyone going up to him, shaking his hand, asking to have their picture taken with him (Quite a few of them didn't even like cricket).. I started to feel sorry for him in the end, as so many people were hassling him. I was going to ask him how we'd got on against Bangladesh earlier on in the day, but I didn't in the end. At one point he even started denying he was Monty Panesar :lolol:

One thing though, I thought he was a sikh? Religion is not my strong point (Hence the U I got at GCSE level), but I thought Sikhs weren't allowed to drink? ???

That's why I'm hoping that the Sikh God (if there is one) doesn't read this.

Because of his image. His celebration etc. He's done well for himself.

Playing for Bexhill CC now, I believe.

Sikh's aren't supposed to drink but they do it. Not quite to the excesses of caucasians but they do. My best mate up here is an indian sikh he always has a drink when we go out. They don't tend to smoke or gamble in general. Muslims are much more by the book.

Not an expert on this but allegedly Sikhs aren't meant to drink. BUT my experience has been that they bury it - usually whisky. Went to support Brighton at West Brom once and ended up in a sikh pub - many of them drinking mild ( the traditional drink of the West Midlands ).

Do they serve Curry on Matchdays? Think I went in there when Spurs played WBA a few seasons ago. But yeah, explains why he was drinking then.

I think that's a bit of a sweeping generalisation. I know several Muslims who drink just as much as, if not more than I do.

There are simply different levels of seriousness with which people treat their religious beliefs.

Take Catholics and sex before marriage. SOME of them take it seriously, but f*** me that's gotta be hard work. In fact I don't know which'd be worse; no sex or no booze.

Religion sucks

Very proud, our little session is something that will live with me forever. The casino didn't know what had hit 'em that night

That night was mentioned yesterday (Was trying to work out when it was). Randomly bumping into you in there at 4am, it just doesn't get better, does it? :drink:

I went to a kabadi match at Hednesford and they were drinking this horrible whiskey shit, getting hammered, and then towards the end loads of fights.
