Has he played his last game for Brighton?
Would you offer the legend a new deal in the summer, or do we be ruthless in the push for the Championship and say thanks for the memories?

You've polled it up as well! With an insane amount of options. Forget mine.

We've got to be ruthless. Jobs for the boys should be a thing of the past and Kuipers has looked a little dodgy this season. I would be surprised if Gus didn't get rid.

The question primarily is ...

"How much does the Lizard want to get to the championship next season?

When you have the answer to that question, you will have the answer to this thread ......imo

I'm not really a great fan of jobs for the boys and not really convinced that we can't do better, but I don't want to get rid of him. He had absolutely no connections with Brighton before he came here, but he IS Brighton. Of course, he may have moved on if he were a top class keeper, but that is worthless speculation.

When he does eventually leave, I hope that we (as a club) remain in contact.

Keep him for another year, he is ALOT better than what we have.

I think if he stays he'd have to accept a lower wage. It has been reported many times that Kuipers' contract is one of the most generous at the club and he's at an age now where he isn't likely to get better. He needs to accept that he can't be automatic choice for number one spot any longer and if he can accept this and a less remunerative new contract then I'd like him to stay

1) A LOT are two separate words.

2) Not much proof of that statement yet either, the defence seem to be more confident playing in front of Brez & I think it was Elphick who commented on his command of his area which is something Kuipers isn't great at.

let him go sure GUS can find a better keeper ! JUST time to move on BUT the FDM is a buddy of the Bloom brothers
so they may offer him another year.

I think he will be released at the end of the season on the understanding that his testimonial game will be one of the ramp up events at Falmer.

I would go for a short term deal but I dont think he would accept it.
