Nottingham Forest today confirmed manager Gary Megson has left the club ``by
mutual consent''.
The City Ground board are set to meet this evening to discuss the interim
replacement for the former West Brom boss.
Forest have failed to force their way into contention for promotion in League
One after being relegated from the Coca-Cola Championship last season.
Megson leaves the City Ground on the back of a 3-0 defeat to Oldham last
night, with the club sitting in 13th place and just four points above the drop
zone.

Yes, and he frequently has. However with the exception of West Bromich Albion, usually very bad ones.

It's quite concerning that every person who leaves a job recently, however shit they may be, somebody on here thinks they 'could do a job'.

Christ, somebody even suggested Leroy Rosenior the other day, it's not that bad..

Two years ago, I had a drink with MM and Bob Booker on the day Paul Hart left (resigned? sacked?) Nottingham Forest. I jokingly said to BB that there was a chance to make a name for himself, his own ship etc etc if he wanted it.

'f*** off' he said. 'I'd rather be assistant here than manager there. It's much better here...'
