medical research

ive signed up to one of those medical research companies where they pay you quite large sums of money for having drugs tested on you-ive signed up to medeval in manchester and am lining up a test in june where i stay 2 nights overnight to have a painkiller tested on me and get £2,400 for it.

well since that story about the testing in london that went wrong a few weeks ago ive been having second thoughts, dont want to end up with a third eye growing out of my back or anything like that...

anyway have any of you taken part in any such research,im expecting that at least a few cash-strapped students on here must have?
