McLaren proving the England doubtors wrong

Interesting article, great to see Steve doing so well there. I fancy he'll get one of the top four jobs if he continues his impressive CV in the Netherlands next time a big job comes round (perhaps Liverpool?)

I think he should get another look-in once Capello lands himself a decent job.

I'm very familiar with Dutch football and the job he's doing at FC Twente is quite remarkable, he has got them playing very well.

His reign with England was a complete and utter failure but he probably deserves another chance in the English game.

I was there too and as heartbreaking as it was to see us fail to qualify the stick McLaren got was sickening, we were ravaged by injuries and he couldn't have bargained for the poor performance of young Scott Carson in goal.

Steve McClaren finds formula for success - Europe - ESPN Soccernet
Ernst Bouwes: McClaren on the right track - Europe - ESPN Soccernet

He's certainly getting praise for what he's done in Enschede.
Although they did well to get a point on Sunday in Utrecht, if Utrecht had put away their chances it could have been worse.
But I expect that after tonight game in Kerkrade, PSV will be back on level terms with Steve McClaren's boyssssh.

Steve McClaren makes England Proud

What a maginificent job he's done and all the doubters should be ashamed of themselves, great to see a top English boss making a name for themselves abroad. I can't see FC Twente holding onto him much longer, got to be in the frame for a lot of top European jobs.
