Really can't see us landing him. Fat barry has publically said that he won't be leaving now for less than 750,000:(

But how often is he telling the truth. Peterborough probably need whatever money they are offered!:lolol:

The only way we'll get a player who is going to cost a fee is if DK wins him in a raffle... Assuming DK can afford the £1 for the ticket!

Shame we can't give 400k up front and the rest spread over 2 years or so.

Depressing as it may seem I think SC will start the season with McPhee and either a trialist or a loan signing.

Everyone would love to see someone like McKenzie or Beckett join - but it ain't going to happen.

Ian Hart said in today's Argus column that he expected to see 2 or 3 more quality signings before the season starts - what in two and a half weeks Ian !

Does anyone really think we'll get anybody else in on a permanent basis before the season starts ?

Mckenzie is over rated and over priced.

Typical Barry Fry....

On the Norwich board it says that Delial Smith has given Worthington the green light to sign two strikers, and McKenzie is on the shopping list along with David Connolly

Barry Fry is having a bubble if he expects £500k for McKenzie. There has to be better strikers available on loans and free transfers.

Neon Leon has a very high opinion of himself, no problem with a streak of arrogance in a striker - especially one that gets a goal every other game as Neon does.

He's out of contract at the end of this season, he has refused a new contract, he wants to play in a higher division and Fat Bastard knows we haven't a chance without him.

Leon gets injured opening fridge doors so his appearances are limited to half a season at best and he did f*** all while at Palarse.

Let him bang a few goals in early doors and watch Barry flog him at £300k.

You can by far better players for £750k. Remember, he's only a Division Two player, it's not like we'd be bringing in someone from a higher division in.
