you may find this hard to believe BUT...Allegedly once upon a time in Hartlepool, a french ship was wrecked off the coast, on board was a supply of monkeys!! BUT when the ship became wrecked the monkeys were later found alive and well on the shore, people in Hartlepool (this is the unbelievable bit!) not having seen a monkey before believed them to be French spies so hung them in public.



Hence the name : Monkey Hangers

They don't like being called this too I believe!!

Going back to the original point - McGhee should be sacked he is abviously not up to this management lark........ MAYBE SOME PEOPLE WILL BACK HIM NOW - then again i'm sure I just saw a pig go by the my window on the third floor
