Was it in the local press ? An article in Times apparently as well.

He believes himself to be the reincartion of an old testament king.

He's "married" them under the terms of his religion and not in a legal sense as we would understand it.

So he's not committed a crime.

Don't know if the picture in the Times is the same, but one thing that has struck me about his religion is that all the wives seem to have to wear a hat.

His eldest wife (62) was a virgin when she married him.

As a former rabbi, he was excommunicated (I do love that word) by his local synagogue and "started collecting wives.."
