M25 issues today - keep an eye on it if you're driving to Watford [Merged]

A lorry has only gone and spunked its diesel all over the M25 at Reigate, which apparently means the road needs resurfacing. No idea how long that will take but it's surely going to cause some serious delays even this afternoon.

Just been on radio Sussex the earliest it will reopen is 2pm

M25 shut. 3 hour delays.

Closed for carriageway repairs, clockwise at J8.

3hour delays on M25.
1.5 hour delay at top of M23.

They reckon it SHOULD all be clear by 2pm, but worth keeping an eye on it, for those driving up to Watford later.

The AA website is predicting that traffic flow should be back to normal by 3pm. Which, as it's the M25, probably means it still won't be moving

I've been stuck in it since 9am. Gridlock around Reigate and Coulsden. Be very surprised if it's clear by 3pm
