AA Roadwatch said about half an hour ago it would be open at 5pm and there were delays of 10 minutes! Now revised to 6pm and delays of 30 mins, still sounds optimistic

Heard it was shut both directions when I was coming out of Hackney earlier so carried on down the A21 at J5. Rekon it only cost me an extra 25 minutes going that way - north of Tunbridge Wells then via Wych cross, Horsted Keynes and Lindfield.

Just got home after being in the northbound part earlier. A two hour delay. Quite boring and frustrating, but just hope nobody is about to receive bad news from a coppers knock on their door.
