Possibly fixtures but had a brief look for a similar new thread.

Slade says it is unlikely Joel will come back.

So, how much can we expect to get for the family silver?

I'd expect Forest to stump up in the region of £350k for his services.

What!!!!

He is not as good as a central defender as what we have at the moment in Elphick and Virgo and he is not as good a full back as McNulty or even Harding for that matter.

If we can rob Forest of anything near your price DK should be arrested.

It must be remembered that Forest paid a fee for his loan services so would expect them to want that knocked off of the price.

Not as good as HARDING? You must be joking.

He is good enough for Slade to say he wanted him back and for Forest's manager to heap praise on him.

I think I will trust their judgement over yours...

We are negotiating from aposition of strength as he still has two years left on his contract, so I would anticipate between three and four hundred thousand

Eh? Remember Forest are paying inflated Championship prices, and that at Championship rates that is not a lot of money for a decent left back...

Who else are they buying then? Lynch is a SHOCKING left back.

[He's a very goog CB in the making though].

I think we'll get, and should be happy with around £200k, with a sell-on if we're lucky.

£250 minimum.

And that is good for a mediocre player (in my opinion of course)

Not according to the Forest boss...

I would also argue most Brighton fans judge Lynch's left-back-ability on the basis of one half against Mansfield when he was ridden with FLU.

I agree as I said not as good left back as Harding, who played at England U21level, and has potential as a centre back, but not yet reached the level of either Elphick or Virgo as he believes that he is better than he is and as such tries to do things and comes unstuck thus leaving the defence in the shit. All praise for him trying but there are times that you can and times that you can't and he hadnt learnt that when with us, perhaps he has at Forest.

Possibly. I see most games though, and never saw him look comfortable there.

I'd counter that, saying that those claiming he CAN play there are basing it, solely on his debut at St.Mary's.

Nope.

Im basing it on the fact he is a talented, athletic football who would be comfortable in either left back or centre back in League 1 / Championship.

Im also basing it on the fact he HAS been playing left back in the Championship and HAS impressed his manager enough to try and sign him.

I think if we could get 100k + it will be good business.

Facts are he couldnt get in our team regularly + wasnt great when he did. Also done average for forest

Never know as we developed him I guess
