Home win against Leeds, and an Away win against Ipswich?

You're more stupid than you appear!:jester:

1066Seagull says he 'thinks' ? No, that's got to be a typo.

I think we wil stay up but we won't get anything like 54 points. Fortunately for us I think there will be 3 or 4 other clubs who will only get 40-45 points this season.

Not everything, for example, it is quite impossible for Ian Dowie not to scare babies and for him to stop making pregnant farm animals going into premature labour !

11 wins fron the last 24 games will give us 52 points. I want us to stay up but the equivalent of 11 wins just does not seem possible on current form unless we sign 2 or 3 players in January.

In saying that I think we may not need as much as 51/52 this year. I reckon with a fairly large number of clubs struggling we might stay up with 46 or 47 points. What does anyone else think ?

I think that as the seaon goes on the number of teams realistically involved will decrease. Also sides threatened with relegation often seem to go on points sprees at the end of the season in a last desperate attempt to stay up. I think that like most seasons 50 points will be the absolute minimum need to survive.

We need to start winning and soon. Luckily our next three home games are all winnable. Two wins out of the three would make things look much rosier.

i think it would be dangerous for us to assume we need less than 50 points. although the amount of draws at the moment is getting a bit dull at least we still well in contention to stay up.

burnley were down with us not so long back and now they're right up the table (i work with a clarets supporter and am getting tired of hearing this!)

we are a good striker short of a few wins and some points, Chippy returning will be like a new signing as Hammond get's forward mopre when he plays...we will get the wins required
