That's really shit. What I cannot understand is how and why he owes thousands in unpaid tax. Stupid question but did he not file a tax return once a year? On top of this his wife died a few years back after a bothched liposuction operation.

He may have filed a return but that doesnt mean he paid his tax.

Its possible that whatever post football venture he went into he did very well to start with but due to the downturn in the economy now the tax is due he hasnt got the money.

He may of course ploughed all his profits into his wifes care fees again leaving nothing to pay the tax
