Been informed that Lewis Dunk is a target for Aston Villa and they could be lining a bid up for him in January. Hope we can keep him at least another year or 2!

Was impressed with him yesterday and heard nothing but good stuff about him on here, so I'm not surprised Premiership clubs are looking at him.

Hopefully he stays put though, would be a shame if he left.

source?

and who cares. he stays - we have a great player. he goes - we should make a lot of money.

we would all hope he stays here for the next ten years but everyone has a price and if a bigger team comes calling and he wants to go then as long as we get what hes worth everyone in theory should be satisfied.

is he likely to displace Villas first choice centre halves? he only became first choice here due to injurys....... being a Brighton lad, hopefully he will see he's better off playing here than being a squad player on the fringes at Villa

Well if he goes maybe they'll let us loan him back for the remainder of the season?

RobynTalkSPORT (newsreader Robyn Schonhofer BHA fan) tweeted about it last week. Glenn Roeder is a scout for Villa and watched the Sunderland game and will be watching v Liverpool too.

According to the 'sun' Alex mcleish (villa) is eyeing a January move for Dunk!
What do you think £15mil plus Dunne?
Is that enough?
Already done!

Not interested in going anywhere according to his mum and dad on Saturday.

Maybe not but what's he on at Brighton? What would he be on at Villa?

What would Brighton get for him? What could they do with that in terms of bringing in one or two more?

Football's a business for the clubs and a career for the players - no room for sentiment, (generally) - if the numbers added up for player and club it'd happen

Have to hope that he doesn't feel ready to leave just yet and that we don't need to sell him. The more players we sell the quicker Gus will feel tempted to move on imo.
