Why on Earth is it being played on a Wednesday afternoon?
Whilst on this thread, by an amazing coincidence, Lewes FC was mentioned on Radio Four of all stations! Apparently Nigella Lawson has bought a stake in it. Does she live there or something?
It's 7.45 kick off not an afternoon kick off. Prices are £8, £4 concessions and kids under 16 go free. I follow Lewes when the Albion are away or when they play on Wed evenings. I really enjoy it. I always take at least one kid along, they enjoy being so close to the action. There's a good atmosphere and you can get Harveys in the bar which you are allowed to drink on the terraces.
Lewes are in a relegation battle which they might think is more important than a trip to the Amex, so not sure they will field a full team. For the Albion it could be a chance to see the likes of Brezovan, Navarro and OGH. Infact it could be quite a tasty Albion side.
I'm looking forward to it, but getting a bit of stick from the missus. By next Saturday I will have been to 7 matches (Albion and Lewes) in 2 weeks.
