Not at all though are they? They're a big club for League One, but in no sense of the word are they massive. Manchester United are massive. Real Madrid are massive. Leeds United are not.

Were a massive a club. I dont think Hartlepool or Bristol Rovers give two shites about us but if so does that make them big?
Threads like this actually prove your point wrong. We all know if they stay down, they'll be losing Beckford for nothing along with Snodgrass for peanuts, Grayson sacked, attendance drops, Leeds are left coping with a big fat white elephant and a club a reputation similar to their Yorkshire neighbours Sheff Wed.
Dont forget there will be a very classy Albion side shining with potential and quality alongside probable favourites Southampton both pushing for top spots next season, both of whom will i'm sure attract better players than Leeds this coming summer. Really can't see Leeds strengthing from this season if they fail promotion again.
Leeds had its day and in truth it was all undeserved. They got what they deserved and now we're seeing the true Leeds United, a failure.

I think this Beckford issue is upsetting the team. If you know someone has already signed a pre-contract agreement and is off in July it has to unbalance the team. If Beckford had just left in Jan (or gone on loan) I think the team would have got down to work without him.

I also think they had ideas above themselves after Man U and some players thought they were promoted already.

This thread isn't about the falterings of a big club. This thread is about the fans of an average club who have delusions of grandeur.

They don't give two shits about us because we don't claim to be champions of europe 35 years after the fact. They don't give two shits about us because we don't claim everyone views matches with us like a cup final. They don't give two shits about us because we don't act like we have a divine right to piss all over the division we're in, the division above us, and be challenging for honours in the division above that.
