My guess is that Gus talked to the media yesterday and as reported in the Argus said something along the lines as to how much he learned at Leeds, liked the fans, who he thinks liked him and that Leeds should be a premiership club with the support they get.

I know we have been told Gus would only leave us for a top club but I’ve always felt if Grayson got the axe, Gus would go there in a heartbeat.

I think he’d see them as a decent bet for promotion to the premier league and also a club with the resources and stature to compete at the top end of the Premier league.
