laptop certificate number help..

sorry about the inumerous threads.

In light of my current situation, I am added some insurance to my laptop. I have the serial number alright but I can't for the life of me find the certificate number.

Does anyone know where it would be located?

It's a TOSHIBA laptop.

Before anyone asks, I tried accessing their forums to ask this but it wouldn't let me login for some reason, the whole thing was trapped in an annoying loop!

I Have a new Toshiba Laptop brought at the weekend.

I've got a number on the bottom of the laptop, which is the serial number.

And theres a different number (well letters and numbers) on the back of the user manual i got with it, written underneath the barcode. I'm guessing that might be the one you're looking for??

So if you can find the user's manual it might be there.

Do you know what the basic warranty/insurance details were/are?

Thanks anyway...I just really want to do as much damage limitation here as possible, money wise.

Hmmm not sure really tbh!!

I got it from pc world and i think its got a years warranty, but thats about all i know im afraid!!
