We'd then have some cash to spend. Pressure is given anytime you're at the top irrelevant of what is spent. We just don't have the bottle to deal with it.

Reckon we do. It's just that we always come back ring-rusty from any kind of mid-season break like an international break or a cup round where we play the reserves. That's my one and only criticism of the current managerial regime. They seem incapable of keeping the first team up to their natural playing levels, given a week off. No matter what junior minister of information [MENTION=24867]chaileyjem[/MENTION] would have you believe. It's clear that this set of players relish games coming thick and fast and only go off the boil anytime they get a chance to put their feet up.
