If you don't know, don't worry the Council didn't want you to.

Delighted for Rob. Was only talking to him this morning & was very nervous as to whether his proposal was going to be accepted by the council. Local man come good & like Tony Bloom only has the City's interest at heart.
"A planning application is expect in around a year's time with building work set to begin next summer."
Yeah right!!
The losing Bouygues design had a 50m pool which could be split.
Not according to the argus article, neither of the.final.submitted.bids included a.50m pool
Very disappointing. This was long anticipated to be a revitalised community centre, but instead we are left with a very, very large block of flats - with pathetic compensation given back to the local community. Six badminton courts, two junior swimming pools and three bowling rinks - hoorah, well worth the £8m of public money, it will really put Hove on the map... not.
I thought this was going to be some super duper ice rink/basketball hybrid venue with a full size pool etc. It does seem a little underwhelming but at least something is happening rather than letting it fall further into disrepair.
