According to the Arsegas AK's agent says that it is 50/50 whether he'll join The Albion.

He has offers from Russia & Japan but would personally like to stay in East Grinstead where his family are settled.

I noticed in the Programme last night that the No. 11 shirt is still available.

Is this just wishful thinking on my part or do you think it's a real possibility?

Exactly. I thought a certain Paul Kitson would be a cracking signing this time last year.

SC knows what he's doing and what he wants. with the kids coming through we may be able to save money for later inthe season if we need someone - may get injuries/player gts fed up with lack of opportunities in div 1/prem.

I want both. SURELY we have the budget for that? I just keep finding this soooooo frustrating that we're still talking about rubbing pennies together despite gaining £1,000,000 and removing BZ, Bozza, Ingimarson and a few others from the wage bill!!!!!

1) He stays fit.

2) He sees his wife & kids.

3) He gets a kick-about every week.

4) He won't wear gloves in January.

5) It pays the mortgage & a for nice two week break to Chernobyl twice a year.

BTW - Hannibal. Kitson (& fatty Butters) were Hinshlewoods signings - SC is far wiser than that mate.

Guy Butters? Paul Kitson? Oh if only SC had come in last summer!

SC has already made noises about how class AK is, so he's probably still got enough for Div 2. Even so, hopefully he's passed on some advice to OGH etc...

That is the best idea, then if you don't like him you can not renew

I agree, but every solution has its downsides.

The same can be said for Leon Knight in October - a huge concern.

Not for me - we'll have the budget to accomodate his wages, otherwise why would we bother signing him at all. He won't go elsewhere unless he can get a significant pay rise or play for a much bigger club. And if that was the case, he'd have been signed up long before now.

Id like to think that well have Knight well and truly on the Books by the end of September if hes doing the business.
