According to the Arsegas AK's agent says that it is 50/50 whether he'll join The Albion.

He has offers from Russia & Japan but would personally like to stay in East Grinstead where his family are settled.

I noticed in the Programme last night that the No. 11 shirt is still available.

Is this just wishful thinking on my part or do you think it's a real possibility?

Is it possible to fit Kanchelskis on the new yellow shirt?

He should have amassed his fortune over the years.

Hopefully he will prefer a settled family life over a huge salary.

I'm assuming that he has children. He won't want their education disrupted. (Well I wouldn't).

Come and join us Andre.

Would you rather keep Leon Knight or sign Andre

I want both. SURELY we have the budget for that? I just keep finding this soooooo frustrating that we're still talking about rubbing pennies together despite gaining £1,000,000 and removing BZ, Bozza, Ingimarson and a few others from the wage bill!!!!!

Yes, yes, I know the budget was pre-arranged but I'm still fumin at how little has been made available to Coppell.

Why not give him a month to month contract?

1) He stays fit.

2) He sees his wife & kids.

3) He gets a kick-about every week.

4) He won't wear gloves in January.

5) It pays the mortgage & a for nice two week break to Chernobyl twice a year.

& everbody's 'appy!

BTW - Hannibal. Kitson (& fatty Butters) were Hinshlewoods signings - SC is far wiser than that mate.

Exactly. I thought a certain Paul Kitson would be a cracking signing this time last year.

I respect SC's impressions of player quality more than Hinsh's!!!
Guy Butters? Paul Kitson? Oh if only SC had come in last summer!

SC has already made noises about how class AK is, so he's probably still got enough for Div 2. Even so, hopefully he's passed on some advice to OGH etc...

That is the best idea, then if you don't like him you can not renew

On a month to month though Eddie, you forgot;

6) If he's still up to it he buggers off to the first division/lower reaches of Premiership as soon as he gets a sniff of interest.

I agree, but every solution has its downsides.

The same can be said for Leon Knight in October - a huge concern.

:(

Not for me - we'll have the budget to accomodate his wages, otherwise why would we bother signing him at all. He won't go elsewhere unless he can get a significant pay rise or play for a much bigger club. And if that was the case, he'd have been signed up long before now.
