If the deadline is 5.30 then all the civil servants would be finished for the day. It wouldn't even be looked at until the following day.
Then it would take a few days to dictate the letters and distribute them to all the relevant parties so I reckon it will be the beginning of next week before we know 100% for certain that we have the all clear.
