Brighton. NOT KEMPTOWN!
Seems I caught a good spell of weather for photos this morning.
It was still bitterly cold though, and the wind funnelling along Village Way was evil.
However, the heart cockles warmed up no end with what I saw today.
The west stand well under way.
The north stand foundations have been started as has the cladding on the back of the east stand.
After a cracking evening at Charlton last Tuesday, and the uplifting progress of the stadium, what's the chances of a hat-trick of joy with a win at Withdean tomorrow?
3 lots of 5 photos coming up.

Great Pictures, as always. Thank you.

I'm not sure if I'm going to get a ST at Falmer, cos I want to sit in at leat half a dozen different seats before I make my mind up where I am going to sit. I want to try top of the top tier of the West Stand.

Although I guess that's what the 'ramp up' events could be used for.

Can't bloody wait!!!

I think those pictures are the first ones that actually show some sort of perspective into the size of the place......that main stand is massive!!!

BTW anyone remember how they will deal with the floodlights? Are they steel structures or are we having lights attached to the stand rooves?

Brilliant pics JS.....i parked up at Falmer and had a look properly for the first time in a couple of months this morning and as amazing as all the pics are that are posted on here i dont think they do it full justice.....actually standing next to the site you can fully appreciate the size of the arch and just how massive the west stand is going to be!!!!!

Flood lighting pilons are a thing of the past, sadly.

Truly magnificently awesome, Mr Straw.

This is what Fridays were made for.
Unfortunately, photos never (however great they are) show just how massive the structure is going to be.

If the "Albion Way" comes out as good as your Friday trips, that would be something special.

Another bit of work that is starting soon is the laying of cables under Lewes Road (near Home Farm Road - where Forfars Bakery is based), to increase the electricity supply capacity at the stadium.

The roadworks could be rather disruptive to local businesses, which will be a shame.
