Met Barry Izbak today who will post his latest film later.
Should be the best to date.
With two sections of arch up, and the other due later today, it's really exciting times with the build now.
The west stand steel is going up quickly, and we know how quick that is, going by the speed the east and south stand framework went up.
There's different projects going on all over the site, and if you look at Giraffe's ariel shots you can see how it's all coming together.

JS, I was thinking of visiting the site on the way home from work today. Is it possible to walk the whole way around the site? I have only ever taken photos from the fence that runs along with Village Way ( I guess thats the West fence)

I get quite emotional looking at these pics.

The pride I feel knowing this is going to be OUR home.

As much as we try to imagine it the felling of going there for the first time and seeing all the blue seats, the imaculate green grass and the crisp white goal nets gently blowing in the breeze.

If you went to Villa Park the other week the capacity of our main stand is only 2000 seats less than thier new trinity road stand, the footprint/size of the structure though will be about the same size.

Yes, but you'll have to cross to the north side of the A27 to see that side. There's no sight holes on the west side either.

If you haven't got a small ladder, it's impossible to see anything from the path which runs behind the hoarding which runs parallel with the railway lines, except for where the hoarding stops at the eastern end where you can see the north end of the east stand.
There is a fire escape on the building by the SU building which is a good vantage point, and you can climb on the traffic safety barrier at that end of Village Way.
Otherwise, it's just the peep-holes.
