Brighton. NOT KEMPTOWN!
With the forecast of monsoon conditions today, I visited the holy land yesterday in glorious sunshine. Up there for thinking, down there for........!
It looks like the blue netting has been removed from a section of the west stand, and from below, the GOSBTS has just a blue tint to it, even though from the above it looks deep blue.
With interior shots getting harder to snap as each week goes by, attention has started to focus more on the infrastructure.
The Falmer station concourse works move on, as do the SEEDA works outside Stanmer Park.
I don't know if the road built along side the railway track on the north side between the station entrance and bridge over the A27 is permanent or just there until they fiinsh reinforcing the sidings?
3 points clear at the top as we speak. Am I dreaming?
3 lots of 5 coming up. :amex:

Incredible. The bridge over the railway has grown even since Tuesday.

Sensible fella getting up there yesterday. Plenty of dark cold wet Fridays to come though over the next four or five months.

Marvellous scenes. I love Fridays.

As an aside, has anyone got a link to a recent set of ariel pictures anywhere?

great shots. One question I have. Are all / a lot of the "normal" concourses going to have windows with views over the downs? That'll be unique won't it? I can't remember any away stands elsewhere with views of anything.

About 2pm ish yesterday I drove along the A23 towards Lewes and there was a Silver Transit van parked in the lay-by before the flyover. With the van was a guy and a huge camera type device aimed right at the stadium. Wonder who he was?

Either you mean the A27, or you were totally lost.

You made a wise choice Graeme.
Cracking pics again.

To answer your last question JS. No, you're not dreaming. At least I hope you're not. Many years ago I remember waiting at JFK airport waiting to come home and someone in our party ripped the piss out of me because we had failed to beat Woking in the FA Cup. I think of all the crap football I've watched at all the shit grounds and what is happening now - new stadium, top of the league etc - just seems surreal.

Might have been this guy if the camera was mounted on a telescopic arm.
