I hate it too! There's even Xmas songs on a couple of adverts, and by the time the Xmas period comes round, I've heard it for ages!

Annoys me too... the council spend loads of money on lights (significantly raising their carbon footpint - for those who care) resulting in higher energy bills, and then they have the nerve to raise my already sizeable council tax.
