Not all good though, I recall the SusSex Pistols once, they weren't all that good, saw them supporting the magnificent Limehouse Lizzy in the Inn on the Prom in Worthing.
To put us music anorak's minds to rest I googled and confirm that the Jethro Tull song in question is "we used to know" from their 1969 album "Stand Up". Give it a listen, there is a strong resemblance. I don't think Ian Anderson has led a life of poverty because of it though.Lived off Hotel California, which they actually ripped off from someone else.
Cheesy band who could pull off a good guitar solo.
