I have to admit it's actually quite comforting to see the opposition mount a serious challenge to the Labour government at last.

I don't vote Labour or Tory, but the ludicrous stranglehold Blair had on our country was deeply concerning and I'd almost welcome a Tory prime minister now, just to give Labour a well deserved kick up the arse.

Sadly however until a third party emerges with a realistic shot at gaining power, the options are pretty grim. It's dumb or dumber
