Way out west
It has no coastline.

If that is the case, what lies between Chile and the Pacific?

I think you might be confusing it with Bolivia, now landlocked, which did have a coastline but lost it (somewhat ironically) to Chile.

She thanked him for "bringing democracy to Chile". Thatcher seems to have a curious understanding of the concept of democracy, since Pinochet came to power by overthrowing the democratically elected government of Salvador Allende, in a military coup.

?Allende was about as democratic as Mugabe, chile was heading for a one party state. Pinochet held a referendum on wether he should continue in office and won it, when he lost the following referendum he stood down.

Truth is Pinochet was a dictator and scumbag, the issue I have is that you airbrush history to pretend that Allende wasn't.

Panpipe music is very big in Chile. As is wearing a poncho.
So maybe we can a live performance by a traditional panpipe group, at The Amex for one game.

ivan zamorano trivia

-Zamorano was nicknamed Bam Bams (for Bamm-Bamm, a character from The Flintstones), and Iván el Terrible ("Ivan the Terrible").

-Zamorano wore the number 9 jersey for Internazionale until a sponsorship deal with Nike saw Ronaldo (who was originally assigned number 10) given the traditional strikers' number. When this happened, they gave him the number 18 jersey, but Zamorano added a plus (+) sign between the two numbers (actually, 1+8=9).

-Zamorano was the promotional face of the new Santiago, Chile transport system Transantiago, which has brought him criticism because of the system's starting failures; some even say his credibility may have been damaged.
