The time it takes ODPM to come to a decision will be beyond the next General Election.
If the polls go favourably the government could call a snap election as early as February.
With all the uncertainty this and the final result will cause could mean the whole proposal being put to one side until next minister in charge decides to even look at the whole issue.
This delay was exactly the scenario I expected but hoped would not happen.:nono:
