Anyone seen this film?

Started to watch it mainly because I was too lazy to reach for the remote control to change channels.

Usually can't stand Tarantino films or war films but this is quite good so far.

Is it worth me sticking with it for the remaining 2 hours?

Same here. The lengthy opening scene with The Jew Hunter is as good as cinema can get IMHO.

Yup, the opening ten minutes was spaghetti-western-tastic. Brilliant, that bit. The rest pretty much deserving of a raspberry. It seemed to be thrown together. If you're making friend eggs on toast, fine, 7 minutes making-time-max with a squirt of brown to finish it off. But if you're looking to make something to remember, spend a couple of hours on it. Put the work in. Stare for some moments at the edges of it all and marvel at the bubbling. Wipe the plates properly clean and allow to naturally dry. A candle on a table somewhere. A single rose if you're feeling soppy or randy or tired of being uncliched. Unrusty cutlery. Not too many forks. A spoon on display to insist that a dessert will follow. Dress the surface with a condiment or four. Pop a cork. And serve.
I thought it sloppy. If only it wasn't for that amazingly tasty hors d'oeuvres.
