You do know they are only 10 minutes from the nearest bigish town don't you?

Its not so much wilderness as, Kew Gardens.

Kew Gardens or not they're still getting frigging wet when it rains and the sleeping arrangements wouldn't suit me-unless Alex Best wanted to share my sleeping bag!

'Apparently' there is a children's playground a few hundred yards from the 'camp'. I find it very hard to believe that there isn't some kind of Green Room where the c-celebs sneak off to make that all important call/fax to an agent etc.

Anyone know how long Lord Brockett went inside for?

Good article by Germaine Greer about that 'jungle'.

A typical "holier than thou" attitude towards a bit of light entertainment.
I'm a Celeb doesn't pretend to be something off the Discovery Channel, but just cos Germaine Greer travels to the Australian rainforests regularly to be 'at one with nature' and all that, it means we are all a bunch of ignormus's for daring to tune in to such puerile rubbish.

f*** off Greer, I know what it is I'm watching, and I'll watch what I want. Save your sanctimonuous, condescending preaching to someone who gives a shit. Its only supposed to be light entertainment, not a frigging life-changing documentary on the wild & wonderful species of Australia.

Exactly Easy 10-she's just a miserable wrinkled old hag who's pissed off 'cos the show didn't want a has-been feminist writer moaning for 2 weeks. :salute:

Bit harsh. I like Celebrity and think it is good entertainment but I think she raises some valid points about the authenticity of the experience. And I don't like the way that wildlife is treated as entertainment either.

I certainly didn't get the impression that she thought anyone tuning into the programmer was an ignoramus, nor would I describe the article as preachy, although I did think she was speaking from a self-interested view (how dare they be so close to my property). Not sure that that invalidates the questions she asks though.

Perhaps Gunther our NSC specialist in the field would like to comment on whether Peter Andre's boner was real or fake when he was having a sly feel of Jordan's baps.
